In support of the Junior League of Norfolk-Virginia Beach’s Little Black Dress Initiative, please join us for Yoga for a Cause on Tuesday, February 4th from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Yoga 108 (5108 Colley Avenue, Norfolk, VA 23508). Because Yoga 108 and Julie Paddock are generously providing this class for free, attendees are asked to donate one box of menstrual pads. The menstrual pad donations will support the Junior League of Norfolk-Virginia Beach’s period packs campaign. Since the 2018-2019 league year, the Junior League of Norfolk-Virginia Beach has been assembling period packs for girls in local public schools. During the 2019-2020 league year, we have donated 200-period packs to four local schools! The Junior League of Norfolk-Virginia Beach is committed to ensuring that every girl in South Hampton Roads has access to menstrual products in school and that no girl misses class because she or her family is unable to afford menstrual products.
