AJLI has launched a free, web-based training program to help Junior League women develop as community and civic leaders. These sessions, called Webinar Wednesdays, typically one-hour in duration, are designed to appeal to every Junior League member, regardless of age or current engagement in her community, as an easy way to increase her knowledge of and interest in community and civic leadership.
Webinar Wednesdays will begin in October 2011 and run through May 2012, and will be offered on the first and third Wednesdays of the month at 1pm (Eastern Time Zone).
The next Webinar Wednesday is tomorrow, October 19, 2011 at 1 pm. The topic is The Civic Marshall Plan, 90% High School Graduation Rates by 2020.
To register for this Webinar, log into ajli.org (which you can do through your JLNVB member profile page) and search ”Webinar Wednesdays”. You will receive a confirmation email from AJLI after you have registered.
To receive training credit for participating in any of the Webinar sessions, please email the following information to your placement advisor: your name, the Webinar title, and the date completed.
Thanks to active member Mary Beth Charon for suggesting this great training opportunity!
