We hope that you found the training on the Nominating process at the October Cluster Meetings informative. I’m sure you are ready now to submit your application for an Officer or Board of Directors position! Members can download the application and return it to the Nominating Chair, Courtney Davio.
Please use the application as your opportunity to tell the Nominating Committee why you would be a good candidate for a Board position. The Nominating Committee will use the application in order to make informed decisions regarding the future leadership of JLNVB. Also, tell the people that you are working with this year or have worked with in the past what position you are interested in. Ask them to contact Nominating and let us know why you would be the best candidate for that position.
If you weren’t able to make a Cluster Meeting or have thought of a question since, please don’t hesitate to contact Courtney Davio. Or if you have any feedback on the training itself, we would love to hear your ideas. If you would like more information on any of the available positions, please refer the Placement Guide, Bylaws, or the person who currently has that position for more detail.

Interviews
The Interviews for the President-Elect Elect were held on Saturday, December 4, 2010 at TowneBank in Norfolk. Board Interviews for all other positions will be held on Saturday, January 8, 2011 between 9:00 am and 3:00 pm at TowneBank in Norfolk.
