First Annual Touch-a-Truck
On April 28, JLNVB hosted its first annual Touch-a-Truck at Hunt Club Farm in Virginia Beach. The event was a huge success with over 1,500 tickets sold in its inaugural year!

- The 2013 Kids in the Kitchen event was held on Saturday, March 23, at Pembroke Mall. We exceeded our goal of 250 participants and a great time was had by all in attendance.

- Whole Foods has teamed up with the JLNVB to support our Healthy Kids Initiative. Join healthy eating specialist Cara each Wednesday morning for creative and fun hands-on lessons about healthy eating for children ages 3-5.

- On Saturday, January 12, the Junior League of Norfolk-Virginia Beach, Inc. hosted a Blood Drive with the American Red Cross. 81 units of life-saving blood were collected and transported to local hospitals.

- Our second annual Little Hands, Big Difference event, held on November 17, taught our children that community service can make a huge impact on those in need. They had fun while learning about the joys of helping others.
